Southern Raised, a group of award winning kinfolk, trained in classical music but raised in the bluegrass soaked Ozark Mountains. They have created a Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets bluegrass and city streets meets country roads. SR has morphed a progressive sound that spans Christian Country/ Bluegrass, Celtic and Classical. They’re talented, they’re energetic, they’re Southern Raised.

Be prepared to expect the unexpected as classical meets bluegrass and new life is breathed into the music and your soul. Collectively they have received a page full of nominations and awards and have appeared on several TV shows and notable stages through the country. Southern Raised are Committed to the Lord, each other and bringing their music to the people” defines this phenomenal group of three sisters, Lindsay (bass), Emily (mandolin & violin) and their brother Matt (guitar), that are sweeping the country with a sound that has been described as “The other side of amazing.”

There is a warmth and realness about them that draws you in, making them one of the best, most unique sounds you’ll hear. They have the distinct ability to cross genres, winning the hearts of all who hear them. When asked their heart behind the music, Southern Raised says, “Jesus is the reason we sing, the passion that burns, the cause we carry and the One we love! We thank Him for allowing us the honor to share His message with the world!”

“They thrill me with their singing and playing. They intrigue me with their ideas. They inspire me with their love for the Lord and each other. In short, they are amazing.” -Kevin Williams, Gaither Vocal Band, Humorist and Guitar Soloist
