The word disciple literally means a “student or learner.” In ancient days, disciples would follow their master around for years until they had learned his teachings and way of life.
Here at FBC our goal is Make Disciples who Love God, Love People and Follow Jesus and one of the ways we do this is by learning about Jesus’ teachings and way of life and helping each other become more like Him. Jesus said it this way: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20)
Thats why we will never stop teaching, reading and exploring. We will never stop learning. There is always more out there! Something new to uncover, something new to discover.
